Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.
How do I deactivate all plugins if I cannot access the admin dashboard?
I tried re-uploading all files and folders but the error keeps coming back as soon as I tried to access my dashboard π
so should I tried coming back to 3.5.1 ?
Using ftp or the file manager at your host, rename the plugins folder plugins-old.
The same method to use the default theme. Rename your theme, theme-old and then wp will open with the default theme.
the error changed… but now all my blog is down and the dashboard doesnt look good either. I did the plugin-old, oxygen-old (my theme)… here is my blog adress:
http://www.monocommemoi.com
and the new error says:
Warning: require(./wp-blog-header.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/vol1/xtreemhost.com/xth_13151496/htdocs/index.php on line 17

Looks like your installation is not complete. For example this mostly loads.

But this doesn’t and should.

Try downloading thw WordPress 3.5.2 zip file and then manually re-uploading everything in it except the wp-content
directory.
can you change to default theme?
i got that error several time, i solved that errors by reinstall wordpress and change to default theme.
Ok so I deleted everything, database and files (I have backups of both things) I reinstalled wordpress and updated to 3.5.2 easily.
NOW… how do I bring back my content? in the ftp, do I have to overwrite the complet wp-content directory? and what do I need in the old database?
thank you
Do you have a backup of your database?
deactivate “WP Maintenance Mode” if you have, thats what was causing the problem on my site.
When was this backup made?
thanks but I dont have WP Maintenance Mode
I did the backup when my site was getting the first error (not able to access my dashboard but I my posts were visible on the blog)
