Yes, I’d like to know the answer to this too… I have been waiting on this upgrade, the centering of the images in the slideshow will make my clients much happier!
I’m really surprised that we can’t get an answer to this issue. I know from previous searches that there are many people wondering how to fix this… photocrati? anyone?
I’m also trying to understand this…Initially my first image in my slideshow (portrait)appears centered then a moment later shifts to the left of center. The following landscape images appear centered when viewed through firefox browser. However, on my android phone, the portrait images do appear centered and my landscape images are cropped.

Hey everyone, centering in slideshows is fixed in v2.0, which should be out of Beta soon, probably within the next few weeks hopefully. You’re welcome to install the Beta, though we discourage against installing to live sites simply because it is a beta and does have known issues.
