I use a custom permalink structure to help keep bog my as search engine friendly as possible. The one think I do not link is how the page permalink structure works.
Here is an example of how it looks now...
http://www.domain.com/page-name
and
http://www.domain.com/parent-page/page-name
Here is an example of how it should look...
http://www.domain.com/page-name.html
and
http://www.domain.com/parent-page/ (parent page index)
and
http://www.domain.com/parent-page/page-name.html
It would be fantastic if this could be implemented into an upcoming release of WordPress. In the meantime does anyone know how a hack that does what I listed above?

I have never seen anything for Pages. You can add .html to posts but not for Pages.
I want to make it like this too :( any new suggestions? Moderator?

I Also would love to know how to do this!
I'm really surprised that this has not been set up for pages like it is for post since you can have permalinks in the post.
I would like to add that someone showed me to this link
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/147118?replies=7
which has a link in it to a plugin called .html on pages
