How to easily put Google Analytics code into your Wordpress install. (6 posts)

    Hi all,

    While scouring forums, I have noticed quite a few posts regarding Google Analytics and Wordpress. According to Google the code is to be inserted between the body tags, however in a multi-file environment like Wordpress, that could be on one of hundreds of files. I am aware there are plugins related to this, but I have used them and always had mixed results.

    To help remedy this, I wrote a brief tutorial which shows how to do this in a few simple steps. The tutorial is written so that beginners may do this quickly.

    google analytics code can be put inside a footer.php right BEFORE the closing </body>

    dont really need a tute for that but oke :)`

    Understood, but this explains a bit more of WHY, and simplifies it for newbies. Thanks for the comment.
