• When I check Google Webmaster tools for errors I keep getting lots of crawl errors for the same post. in the past months there have been literally hundreds of the same error. However, I deleted this post over a week ago in an attempt to fix this and I am still getting errors that I can’t understand.

The URL not found is a long string of links and the page that this is supposedly linked from is a search, but I don’t have a search function on my site (http://silverphotography.co.uk/).

There is a URL ‘not found’:
    http://www.silverphotography.co.uk/wordpress/search/Oran+Mor/page/2/www.ambiencevenuestyling.com/www.angeliquelamontbridalwear.co.uk/www.bridalmakeupbygill.com/www.bridalmakeupbygill.com/www.rox.co.uk/www.macgregorandmacduff.co.uk/www.divinehairbykaren.co.uk/www.divinehairbykaren.co.uk/page/2/

    Linked to from:
    http://www.silverphotography.co.uk/wordpress/search/Oran+Mor/page/2/www.ambiencevenuestyling.com/www.angeliquelamontbridalwear.co.uk/www.bridalmakeupbygill.com/www.bridalmakeupbygill.com/www.rox.co.uk/www.macgregorandmacduff.co.uk/www.divinehairbykaren.co.uk/www.divinehairbykaren.co.uk/
Two weeks ago I moved servers and redesigned my whole site with a new theme and still the errors persist. Can anyone offer any advice?

  • Go to your Google Webmaster tools and look for appropriate tabs where you can ask Google to ignore/remove these links.

As it looks some of the links are not generated from your site, but by other sites that linked to your URLs and possibly they removed those links.

Solution for these problems can be found only at your Google Webmaster tools account. You can also find help links there to solve these problems.

Also note that WordPress cannot influence how search engines crawl, index, report errors, etc. and these are NOT WordPress problems.
