Zoom controls disappeared in Location Editor

Firstly, thanks for such a great plugin, Im using Google Maps v3.
At some point over the last couple of weeks, the zoom controls have disappeared from the location editor map view, they’re not loading into the DOM. The page views (single, global, contextual) havent been affected, and the zoom controls are still visible on them.
Ive tried deactivating all other recently updated plugins and playing with settings, neither of which seem to have had any effect. If I change to Google Maps v2 however, the zoom controls do display.
Using the scrollwheel for zooming also still works. Do you have any idea what might have caused this? Ive tried changing the addControls options in location-editor.js but cant get the zoom controls to display, so am running out of ideas…
