Support » Plugin: Contact Form DB » Store image uploads to DB

  • When I upload images through the file upload, the CF7 plugin is able to send the uploaded files through email which means the files are being accepted by the CF7 plugin, however, the CFDB plugin will not show image file types in the database listing. It will only allow documents. Is this a restriction of the CFDB plugin or a possible plugin conflict? If it is by design, that needs to be fixed! Otherwise, do you have any suggestions as to how to fix the conflict?

There is no restriction on file types in the plugin code. I don’t know why you are experiencing this. Are the files very large?

Very Small. Less than 1 MB. It never stores image files in the DB (tried JPG and PNG). It does upload the images into the CF7_file_uploads folder and emails them in the submission email, it just doesn’t list them in the CFDB.

It won’t take PPTX files either. So far it is only working with DOCX, PDF, TXT, XLSX. I have not yet tried the legacy Office filetypes.
