   I downloaded the wp-sticky, uploaded it to my server, extracted the zip file -- just I usually do for a new plugin. However, it doesn't show up in the plugin section of WP admin area. How can I fix this?

   Maybe by reading the readme... before uploading.

   No, you didn't.
   And do it in the right order:
   1. download
   2. unzip on your computer
   3. Read (what to upload)
   4. Upload
   5. You will see it - if done right.

   upload /sticky/ to wp-content/plugins and NOT /wp-sticky/

   maybe newer versions of WP broke it? Not working here either... fresh (just installed it) installation of WP here, moved /sticky/ to wp-content/plugins/ and I was able to ACTIVATE it... but after going to the options panel there is no sticky options on WP...

   not sure what happened... after activating it and de-activating it a couple times it showed up... O_O
