  • Your styling does not display h3 elements in widgets. “.widget h3{display:none}” That’s why you can’t see the titles of your events in the sidebar.

Event times might be missing for a similar reason, and it might have something to do with the values you have saved for the times. The span appears in the HTML, but it has no content. Blank times don’t generate the span at all on my site.

There’s no sign of the event location information on the page. Are you sure it’s been entered into each individual event, and that you checked the display box for it in the widget setup?

Thank you so much for the reply.

I added back in the h3 element, which solved the event title issue.

And you were correct, I had NOT checked “show location” in the widget setup. (Duh).

I do have a time in every single event entry (formatted as such: 6:30 pm) but it’s still not showing up (and yes, I have checked the box “show event start time” in widget setup.

This is an excellent plugin — and I’m sure the issue is on my end!

I cannot see why the start time isn’t displayed correctly. The “event-time” span-tag is included correctly but the required text inside the tag is missing.
I guess the start time is visible in the admin event table?
Please try to create an new page with the event-list shortcode to see if it´s a general problem on the frontpage or a widget problem only.
