CorywaI downloaded 2.3.1 and uploaded it to my server. When I install WP though, it installs v2.0.5. The only thing I change in the WP files is the config file.
I delete everything, the files and DB, clear my cookies and cache, and do a fresh download of 2.3. When I install it, it installs 2.0.5 again!
When I do the same process from a different computer, using the same files/folders, it installs 2.3.1 just fine.
I can work with it, it works just fine. I have multiple blogs on my host and quite a few had this happen. I just let it be because I didn't really realize what was happening until now. But it's annoying as all heck.
Anyway to fix it?
