• I’ve spend 15 minutes trying to find something that says “clone” in my settings and ANY tab on the left.

I don’t know how to get the thing even going.

    Uninstalling it.

Going back to Duplicator which works like a champ….

Wow, not trying to be rude, but did you even try looking at the installation instructions?

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/ns-cloner-site-copier/installation/

or the other info on the plugin pages? Are you using Multisite? Are you in Network Admin? Did you check the Sites menu in the Network Admin section? It’s actually quite simple really.

And a 1 star because you can’t take the time to read the directions? Ouch. Bummer. That hurts.

We’d have been more than happy to help you out if you had asked, and still wish you all the best. 🙂

Hey, Perry. Maybe we were both having a bad day last week and I wanted to apologize if my reaction was presumptive or out of line.

We updated our screenshots in the screenshots section here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/ns-cloner-site-copier/screenshots/ based on your implicit feedback, and hopefully this will improve the experience for others.

If you’re happy with Duplicator that’s fantastic. If you’d be willing to give the cloner another shot we’d be honored, and will give you great support if you give us the chance.

    All the best.

@ns, i do not think apologize was needed.
Too bad people are lazy when it comes to look around in the dashboard and/or read the documentation and when they do not appreciate good work, specially when it is given to them for free.
More annoying is that there is no way to control that feedback system as it is ridiculous that one can give a 1 star rating because either he is lazy or he just trying to advertise another plugin which in this case is Duplicator.

Shame that people cannot appreciate. Good job with this plugin and keep up the good work.

Many thanks for the input @eyal – made our day 🙂 Best regards,

@ns – I want to jump in and second @eyal’s comment. I’ve had run-ins with @perrymyk as well for essentially the same thing – not reading instructions and not asking for any help before he posts a complaint. Quite often, he does not return even when the plugin developer has reached out to help solve his issue.

If you look at his forum history, he’s a chronic complainer that evidently doesn’t read directions. Sadly, he’s fairly prolific in posting complaints and seems to have his trigger finger on the 1-star button.

Thanks @chad! Sincerely appreciate the additional perspective!

Really? Because I found it in under 2 minutes without even having to look at the instructions. It’s in the Network Admin Dashboard under Sites » NS Copier. If you want to negate people’s weeks and months of hard work with 1* because you can’t take more than 15 minutes then you should consider another career/hobby.. or just use Blogger.
