I installed DDA on my website (running the Catalyst Framework) and as soon as I activated the plugin my website threw this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function show_share_buttons() in /home/wpnews/public_html/wp-content/themes/catalyst/lib/functions/catalyst-navbars.php(143) : eval()’d code on line 1

I deactivated the plugin first. Nothing changed. Then I uninstalled it entirely. Still no change. I have had no luck finding where the function call is coming from or how to fix the code on my website so that it actually works again.

I would appreciate any help that anyone can provide.

When you deactivate the plugin and uninstall via WordPress it removes all traces of it. This being said I’m not sure how the error could have been created but will do my best to help you out.

Can you post the code from the error (everything from catalyst-navbars.php from say line 140-150) so we can take a look?

@brandon_orndorff – It seems the error was my fault. I left a snippet of PHP in one of the hooks. It broke when there was no shortcode to reference. Once I found the snippet I was able to move forward.

Thanks and I apologize for not changing this to reflect that. I had given up hope of response for a while.

I apologize for the slow response. I have written a couple WordPress plugins, many macro’s and maintain about 25 websites and have made myself way busier than I expected. I will still be supporting the Digg Digg alternative although in the near future support may be a bit slow.
