How to make my wordpress search posts AND pages?

    Hello, I want to make something to my wordpress that will allow the search function to search news/posts AND static pages.

    I saw a page about a plugin for this, but it was non-official etc. What is the latest option/plugin I can get for my 2.3.1 wordpress?

    Please help, I did try to search on google and here, but nothing came up =)
