In the past, I’ve used this plugin to present the full-sized images of thumbnails that were just too large for quick-viewing.

I reduced all my images using the default wordpress image handler (usually just clicking 80% or lower), clicked Link To Image and this fancybox plugin would do the rest: when a user clicks the image, they get the full size in fancybox. Perfect. Well, that’s no more.

Now, I can’t create any new fancyboxes and roughly 60% of all my images no longer use the plugin. Now when a user clicks, it goes straight to the image source page (AND at a reduced, thumbnail size, which is what really baffles me). I’ve tried to manually correct all the glitching images, but to no avail. Any help is appreciated.

  • Hi, I suspect the glitches started after you activated the Photon mudule in Jetpack… The new 1.5.0 release should work better with image URLs that have been altered by Photon.

Let me know if you still have issues after upgrading.
