Stop site being responsive

Hi, sorry if this question is completely moronic.

How do you stop a site from being responsive? The theme I am using is responsive but I couldn’t configure the entire site properly so decided to remove the feature. I have taken out all of the coding I can find, but the site still zooms into the top left corner if you access it on a mobile.
