disable welcome button in discover theme | WordPress.org

I am wondering whether the welcome button (standard text “Download”) can be disabled on the start page in the discover template. If yes, any help to delete this “welcome button” would be highly appreciated!

the code is in template-home.php line 20 to 23, remove that, keep BACKUP

I have the same problem, but it doesn’t seem to work.

I remove:

<?php if(esc_html(of_get_option(‘welcome_button’)) != NULL){ ?>
“><?php echo esc_html(of_get_option(‘welcome_button’)); ?>
<?php } else { ?> “> <?php echo “Download Now!” ?> <?php } ?>

What have I missed?

comment out lines 20 to 23 in template-home.php. should work.

Hi I’m kind of new to word press hope you guys can help me out.

I’m trying to remove the download now!

I had to remove the following but it does not work.

Make sure to remove the code from index.php as well..
