I just upgraded my site to WordPress 2.3.1, and now when I use the <!--more--> tag, it is enclosed in <p> tags, which I don’t want.

I’ve searched through the code, but haven’t yet found why this happens. Solution?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Cheers,

    York

  • I upgraded mine and I think something went wrong because it was too easy.

I just uploaded the files and replaced the old ones, just left the layout folders off. Then I hit the address /wp../update.php and the message came up:

    “No Upgrade Required”
“Your WordPress database is already up-to-date!”

The admin-cp shows the thing as “latest version” ^^
