You may need to assign the (page you created/home) to be set to your new “home-page-template” in the actual WordPress Page( not in the template )
This is on the right side when you eit your newly created page.
Are you talking about the settings under Settings > Reading for the home page? You can only select ONE there – for whichever option you pick – static or posts.
To control what shows in the menu – create a custom menu – see:
http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide
Under Settings>Reading:
I have set the static page to “HOME” but the wrong page “GALLERY” is showing on the main page.
Have you set up a custom menu? I see home and gallery and contact on your site.
Yes, I’ve set up a custom menu. Home is suppose to be a different page from the Gallery page. But they’re both showing up as the Gallery page.
Did you create a page (under the pages screen) for your home page? And then select that page for the static home page?
I also can’t see anything on your site – you have a under construction page up.
Yes that’s what I did. I created 3 pages: Home, Gallery, and Contact.
The Gallery and Contact pages work, but what I set as the “static front page” should be the Home page I created but it’s showing the Gallery page.
What happens if you switch to the default 2012 theme?
Same thing, Home doesn’t show.
We can’t see anything on your site with “under construction” up.
