I have just had approx. 8000 attempts to access my WP installation and now I can not access/open the full Access Log. I get the error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 82 bytes) in /var/www/web137/web/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1545

I can see the many attempts on the widget on my dashboard.

Any suggestions on what to do?

I’m using the Simple Security Plugin Version 1.1.4

    Thanks

There are a few ways you can fix that.
One idea is to use a MySQL DB management tool to access your database and delete some of the older data from the access_log table.

A better solution might be to increase the memory limit in your PHP.ini configuration file.
You could most likely contact your web host to learn more about PHP configuration.
