I’ve tried it, no luck. It doesn’t seem the authors are updating it anymore either. 🙁
I take that back, I downloaded the plugin from the plugin site (http://www.earthorbit.com/opensource/) and it seems to be working fine.
Just make sure you follow the instructions (it’s easier to read here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-smf-a-simplemachines-bridge/installation/)
