I thought I had, it must have been stripped. Here it is again:

    Cool Thanks!

I just tried to use Duplicator with goDaddy. ONce I uploaded the package and the installer, i could not proceed, because the installer was not seen as an executable. They don’t allow that. So they suggest to use your plugin, and prevent its functioning. Go figure.

The installer.php file is a PHP web file that is designed to run under a web server that process PHP files. Are you running it on a server that processes PHP files?

Hello. I had the same issue with Go Daddy. “Are you running it on a server that processes PHP files?”

I have no idea. How do I know this? And, yes, GoDaddy talks about Duplicator. Odd, that. Worse, support has no idea what I am talking about. Try explaining this when you are tired, frustrated and in need of an alcoholic beverage.

    Hey David,

The plugin is designed for technical admins, and not a good idea to try and tackle when your tired and frustrated. If your not very used to working with databases and web servers then you will definitely need to get the help of your hosting provider. If the tech supports can’t answer your question about whether the server runs PHP then that is a problem. I would ask to talk with another tech support person or a manager. Those should be questions that your host can answer without issues.
