Failed to open stream

    Hi,

    I’m totally new to WordPress. I’ve just installed everything with step by step instructions until it was fully installed. Though I managed to open the wordpress blog, there were always errors when I tried to edit anything in the blog.
    Below are some of the the errors.

    Warning: main(ABSPATHwp-admin/includes/bookmark.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\inetpub\vhosts\ptistrader.com\httpdocs\wp-admin\includes\admin.php on line 3

    Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required ‘ABSPATHwp-admin/includes/bookmark.php’ (include_path=’C:\PEAR\pear;.\includes;.\pear;.’) in D:\inetpub\vhosts\ptistrader.com\httpdocs\wp-admin\includes\admin.php on line 3

    That error is about missing or corrupted files. I’d try to re-upload at least the wp-admin folder and its subfolders.

    Don’t you have them on your computer?
    How did you install it if you don’t?
    Or, you can always download a fresh copy of the whole WP by clicking Download on the top of this page…
