If I follow the link provided inside of start up screen url, I can view the image at the appropriate size etc.

    Is it solved ?

I’m having the same problem with my site. Was a change made that would solve this issue? As of today, it is still a problem for me.

    Hi Billy,

So I can’t pin point exactly where the problem is occurring, but I have been able to successfully get it loading on both the iphone 4 and 5 as well as ipad’s.

I have nothing inside of my iPhone 5 icons/startup screen

both are left blank. I assume it is pulling from the iphone 4 icon and start up screen. Either way, if you have something input into that box it will cause an error on the 4 as well.

    Best of luck

    Evan

I’m testing on an iPhone 4S. I do not have a 5 or 3G so I can’t see what happens on those screens.

I just removed the startup image url from the “640×1096 (iPhone 5 and 2012 iPod Touch)” and reloaded my site and the startup screen for the iPhone 4/4s finally did appear.

Hopefully this is a quick fix for the plugin author and we can get the 5 startup screen loading as well.

yes, for some reason inputting anything in to the 5 breaks the 4 as well. Strange.

But like I said, just using the 4/4s input box is enough to allow the 5 to work as well, even if you cant test it (I can, and know it works)

I’m Still Having Issues With This As Of The Latest Update – Is There A Fix?

The exact same thing was happening to me.

But I Finally figured it out…

    1) You have to create images EXACTLY at the same pixel dimensions as is posted next to each text field. This goes for BOTH the touch-icons and the splash screens.

    2) Upload your images via the WP Media Library.

    3) Copy and paste the URL’s into each respective field within the plugin’s Admin panel.

    =====

    That should do it.

    Cheers.
