I just uninstalled the plugin. I think there was a compatibility issue with twentyeleven and now the metas are as I wanted them. I just wanted to share because I know others are having the same issue and those wacky tags and descriptions were bad for SEO.

    Hi mrryanconnors,

We have fully tested the plugin with Twenty Eleven and Twenty Twelve and know of no issues with those themes. Can you be more specific as to the exact problem you are having. I don’t have enough information about the problem to help you and as you have deactivated the plugin I can’t check the source code of your site to see whats happening.

Thank you for the quick reply. Basically, the title would display as Mr Ryan Connors Website | %blog_title% or something along those lines. I filled in all of the sections within the plugin and followed the advice, but perhaps I made an error somewhere.

I think the change happened recently though because I try to keep an eye out for that stuff. However I won’t be reactivating the plugin for troubleshooting as I’m waiting to be indexed again with the proper titles and descriptions.
