    Hello,

Your site includes a newer version of jQuery than the one currently included with WordPress. The tooltip script my plugin uses isn’t completely compatible with the newer version.

However, there is a handy jQuery migrate script that can be included to work around this until I get chance to fix / replace the tooltip script.

You can include the migrate script via a little functionality plugin, which you can find here, or download as a .zip here.

Marking as resolved. If you’re still having problems, let me know.

Firstly, this is a great little plugin.

I am having a similar issue with one of my calendars though. It was all working fine but just stopped working recently.

On the calendar page the tooltip isnt working and you cant click through to next months.

    Here is the link: http://stkildaps.vic.edu.au/calendar/

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello,

Something (your theme, I think) is loading an extra version of the jQuery JavaScript library at the end of the page, which causes problems for the scripts my plugin uses.

Have you tried enabling the “Add JavaScript to footer” option in the plugin settings? This might do the trick. If not, let me know.

Hi Ross…hoping you can help me with the same issue. Tool tips, etc. are not showing on our calendar grid. I’ve set up a test page:

I’ve tried enabling the ‘Add JavaScript to footer’ option in the plugin settings but no change. (That seems to slow page loads quite a bit BTW)

The widget is working fine (located in the footer).

    Any advice?

    TIA!

    Hello,

You theme loads an old version of the jQuery UI JavaScript library, rather than using the one included with WordPress. This causes problems for the tooltip script my plugin uses. Updating jQuery UI should fix this. If you’re not sure how to do that, let me know.

The “Add JavaScript to footer” option slowing things down is odd. I can’t think of any reason why that would occur. If anything, it should speed up page loads very slightly.
