    Hi,

This plugin is great but maybe there is a work around for the following problem.
If a customer forgets to fill out a required field in the product enquiry form but clicks ‘send message’ the screen flicks back to the main product page. Firstly the customer might assume the message is sent. Secondly if you go back into the product enquiry tab all the fields are now blank with a red line around the field the customer forgot to fill. Could be annoying as customer will have to rewrite the whole enquiry again.

Have I set it up correctly

    Hi Andy,

I am not able to replicate this issue at my end. Probably the issue is on your site only.
Whenever, we fill any invalid data into enquiry form and click on send button, the screen does not flick back to the product page. Also, the filled data (if any) remained as they are in the form.
I am not sure but I can guess, this form has a JavaScript conflict on your site due to which screen is flicking back to the product page and when you again open the enquiry form, a new form is opened actually. Hence, you see completely blank form.
Please confirm whether there is any JS conflict on your set up or not.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Sorry not sure what a JS conflict is – do you know where the most likely source of a conflict is? My site uses woo commerce and the cheope theme. Have minimal plugins, just the necessary. site is http://www.akdfurniture.co.uk

    Appreciate your help

Sorry, but I can not help you for this problem. The simple reason is that you are not using my plugin.

The plugin which you are using is different. My plugin does not show enquiry form in the tab rather it shows a button in the product summary.

Please have a look at these screenshots – http://wordpress.org/plugins/product-enquiry-for-woocommerce/screenshots/

Also, whenever you ask a query on support forum, please be sure that you are asking at right place 🙂

Kindly, contact the developer of the plugin which your are using. Alternatively, you can try my plugin. I am not promoting it but it is just a suggestion.

    Thanks,

Ah don’t I feel silly, but in my defence the site was set up for me by a web designer and I was given the link to your website for support – I had assumed for my current contact form.

Thanks anyway and sorry to waste your time. Yes I will probably use your plugin.
