    Hey there,
This problem is not related to Menu Cart, but probably related to SSL. It looks like SSL is forced in the checkout and this is causing problems (also, if I go to that checkout page I get a big red warning that the certificate is not valid).

Try disabling SSL and see if that helps.

If you want to be 100% certain that it’s not our plugin causing this issue, try disabling it and see if the problem persists.

p.s. this is the support forum for the WooCommerce version of the Menu Cart. For Jigoshop support, you can go to WP Menu Cart Support

It doesnt work even though I have disabled SSL.
I edited the cart.php link location page_id from 27(link to cart status) to 28(link to checkout page) with Firebug and it works.
But I can’t update the changes to the server with Firebug.
Can anyone tell me how to update to server?

    Hi there,
You should be able to change the cart and/or checkout page from within WooCommerce. Go to WooCommerce > Settings and then the Checkout tab, and select the proper page there.

The WooCommerce Menu Cart plugin (which this is the support forum for) doesn’t affect this behavior in any way though.

Let us know if this solves your issue and have a great day!

    Hi Ewout,

    Thanks for your feedback.
The WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout is set correctly.
The Checkout menu in my top menu is working fine.
My problem is within the shopping Cart menu, there are two buttons (as shown in my previous attached pix link). The ‘proceed to checkout’ button redirect wrongly back to the same page resulting in a infinite loop back.

I have tested changing with Firebug (only on the screen but can’t update to server i.e not permanent). It works with the correct redirect link as shown in the att pix.
I am not able to fix this problem as I am not able to update cart.php to my WP server.
The redirect link in cart.php is hidden in WP editor mode. So I can’t edit from the internal Editor.

Please help. How do we edit .php with hidden code or var name only?

The Checkout menu in my top menu is working fine.

Note that this is unrelated to what WooCommerce links to as the checkout page! Just check again to make sure that there’s not two pages with the title ‘Checkout’ – you might still be linking to the wrong page even when it looks to be the same.

I don’t know where you changed the destination of the checkout button, because in my WooCommerce install (with default templates), it is a submit button, which triggers an action rather than opening a link. This means that there’s not really a link you can edit either because the whole process links back to those WooCommerce settings I referred to above.

There seems to be something wrong with your installation – this is not related to the WooCommerce Menu Cart plugin (which this forum is about) but to WooCommerce itself, or your theme. You can verify this by turning off the WooCommerce Menu Cart to see if the problem persists. I recommend to check with your theme developers and/or creating a fresh install.

Sorry that I have mistaken. On second look, I am using WP-Menu cart.
My problem still exist even if I deactivated the WP menu cart plugin and installed Woocommerce menu cart plugin and activate the new plugin.
Then I removed all menu cart plugin and the cart menu still exist with the same error.
I am using WooCommerce with Mystile theme.
How can I do a fresh install? will it wipe out my existing data?
    Please help.

Hi there! Just wanted to add to what Ewout said. If you still see the issue without the menu cart plugin installed you can be absolutely sure that the issue is not with this plugin. More than likely you’ll get the best help if you contact WooThemes directly, as they own both the theme and the WooCommerce plugin. Here’s their support page: http://support.woothemes.com/

It may be worth deleting WooCommerce and re-installing it. If you do so you most likely won’t lose your data (you should definitely back up the site, just in case) but you will lose any changes you made to the core WooCommerce plugin. The same is true of your Mystile theme.

    Thanks.
I have copied the complete WP folder and did a backup of database with phpAdmin to my PC.
Am I safe to delete and re-install now?
Sorry, this is my first time doing backup and re-instllation. I just want to make sure I won’t loose my working site.
    Cheers!
