   I've been logging on to wordpress site and editing and updating my blog via the website so I am not sure what version I am using.

   I received this error message when I logged on today :

   WordPress database error: [Table 'wp_comments' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed]
   SELECT COUNT(*) FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_approved = '0'

   WordPress database error: [Table 'wp_comments' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed]
   SELECT COUNT(comment_ID) FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_approved = 'spam'

   How do I fix this?

   Hopefully you are performing routine backups.
