I just upgraded to 2.3.1 and I noticed that blogroll category management has changed, but more importantly, that you can no longer create subcategories in your blogroll?
Are blogroll subcategories gone for good, or is this a bug in this version?

Yeah, sub-categories as you call them are gone.
