• The sample screenshot for the timeline plugin looks different than I’m seeing ‘out of the box’. Do I need to modify css to get that level of control?

How would I do that? I don’t see any ‘editor’ option in the timeline settings page. Do I FTP to my server and find the plugin’s css and edit it in place?

I’d like to make the date display smaller and a different color than the Title text.

    thanks!
    Rob

  • Your post was three weeks ago so I assume (or hope) you figured it out. In case anyone else has the same question:

The CSS files are located at /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-posts-timeline/css

To get the same layout as the screenshot example, you’ll need set the following in the Settings > Timeline Settings:

    • Post type: Post
    • Show post title? No
    • Date format: Y
    • Include featured image thumbnails? Yes

You can see mine here: http://mickjohnson.me/projects/

Any idea how I could the the post title to a new line under the Post date on the timeline title (h3)?
