Deleting user information

    For security reasons, I’d like to delete the default email address for “Address to use when emailing:” and delete the information showing in Online Backup Username: Online Backup Password:.

    Deleting the plugin then reinstalling it does not work. Please advise.

    Hi frankieboy,

    Deleting and reinstalling should reset the Online Backup Settings so it asks you to login again, and the fields should be empty. If they are not empty, it’s probably your web browser filling it and is nothing to do with our plugin. In that case, search Google for “saved passwords” followed by your browser name, i.e. “saved passwords firefox”. You should find some info on how to manage them.

    As for “address to use when emailing” – this is taken from the email address on WordPress General Settings. We don’t keep it, we just ask WordPress for it and store it. I don’t think you can remove this email address from WordPress without breaking it.
