Disqus and WordPress Comments Delay

I noticed that posts on my front page continued to read “Add Comments” or “0 Comments,” despite the fact that upon entering the page, comments were already posted. It turns out that while all the Disqus comments were being creating as they should, the corresponding WordPress comments were not. In fact, it takes a good two to three weeks before the WordPress comments are added and by that time, there is another group of comments waiting to be created.

Any way to fix this or at least where can I look to start finding answers? Thanks!
