I’ve already added manually a view counter to my post titles, after comments counter (without using any plugin). On the other hand, I’ve just installed WordPress Popular Posts 2.3.2 and I want to move the previous view values to current view values. So is there a way to add an initial value to each post views separately?

    Hi there,

Yep, you’d need to add the posts’ IDs to the wp_popularpostsdata table (that’s the All-time table). The other one (wp_popularpostsdatacache) stores the views generated on the past 30 days.

Thanks Héctor, but could you please explain the solution in more details? I’m completely new to wordpress! I want to add some values to current values, separately?

I did it myself. Just go to Phpmyadmin, and then Browse wp_popularpostsdata table and finally change the values.
