How do I get an arrow to function?

Hi, I’m using a very basic theme called Glider which (on my site) has an arrow on the right hand side. It’s not functional and I’d really like to make it work. The developer sent me here suggesting I find out how to add a normal link to the character. Is somebody available to step me thru the process? (I promise to follow all instructions).

Here’s my site ideally I’d like to use an image per page rather than the slideshow.
