Oops. I didn’t mean to include http://. I just put in the CompanyName.com then the ftp username and password. When I tried to login in FileZilla to make sure that the ftp login credentials work, and they do. So I do not know why backup schedular says, after testing,
The host CompanyName.com cannot be resolved!
Could you paste here a screen shot of what exactly there is in the field ?
Have you try with other name in ordder to see if the DNS works on your installation (such as google.fr)
And with another domain ?

I am sorry, but I do not understand what you mean by another domain. The company doesn’t have any other website other than this.
Also sorry for the very late response. I didn’t get an email notification of your response until I checked online.
I know that wordpress may have issue with the notification process…
The idea is not to actually save the files on another domain but to see if the server is able to resolve another domain.
Thus, if you set the name to ftp://www.google.com and that the error message change, we will know that the problem is with your domain and if the error is the same, the problem will be by your host (who may forbid the resolution of DNS name)
