I could not find answers in the FAQ. Just tried to activate subscribe2, and my blog pages all disappaered. (www.nksinfoservices.com/blog) Nothing but white pages.
I see from some previous questions people mention being able to see the pages still there via ftp -- but I don't know how to even try that.
1) how would I ftp to the site?
2) what can I do to retrieve my prior 12 posts and pages?

I gather you fixed this? I can see your site.
And to ftp to your site, you should have some ftp login details from your host, so you just need to find yourself a ftp client [Filezilla is recommended] and start accessing your files via ftp.

Unfortunately I was not able to fix the problem. Had to "deactivate" my site and then recreate it, using the same URL. Fortunately I had xcopies of all the posts, so was able to cur and past them backin - altho all show as occuring on the same date - yesterday.
Not the most efficient use of time, but at least I have a blog running again. Guess I will forget about adding a subscribe plugin
