Why empty twitter:image despite fallback URL being set?

    Hello, unfortunately I have lots of problems getting images for summary card to work properly this plugin. Featured image defined either through NextGen Gallery or in a native WordPress’ way results in twitter:image meta value being empty.

    I understand it might take time to customize the plugin for different settings, what I don’t understand is why does it present an empty value despite having the fallback image URL set?

    Featured image defined the WordPress way works great. NextGen gallery has weakness regarding this particular feature not my plugin.

    In case featured image is not set, fallback image you set in option page will be grabbed.

    Hi again, I tried to explain this weakness does not come from my plugin. The fact is not everybody uses NGG so I doubt this would be a good update. Moreover you do not give a lot of details so it’s hard to understand what is problematic.

    Featured image set WordPress’ way do not work great. They do not work at all. Probably because of Twitter, but that was the subject of the other post.

    As for the NGG, of course not everybody uses it. Only some geeks. That’s why its download count shows: 7,238,944.
