I am running 3.5.1 and the Custom Community theme. Other shortcodes are working just dandy on my site, but the [user-submitted-posts] shortcode at least I can confirm is not working for me. Just comes up looking that exact text on the page when I look at it in a live view. Any ideas? Is it simply not compatible with 3.5.1 at this time?

    Thanks so much.

Hi TribalDancer, I just rechecked the shortcode on a default install of WP and it still seems to be working fine. It could be something else that’s interfering perhaps..?

I’m actually having the same problem.

Running in WP 3.5.1 with the current version of this plugin but the form is not showing up except for the “Submit A Post” title and the “Submit Post” button.

    Please help! thanks

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I’ve re-tested the plugin on default WP and it’s still running great. I’m also running USP on a number of personal sites and it continues to work excellent, better than ever. Even so, here are some things to check:

    • Read the readme.txt
    • Properly set all plugin options
    • Disable all other plugins to see if there is a conflict with another plugin
    • Try using the default WP theme to see if it’s a theme-related issue
    • Set up a new WP install for testing

    I hope that helps!

thank u so much for your help jeff.

I went through the checklist you gave and it’s now showing up. 🙂
