   The new image could not be created - skipping thumb creation for this file: ../wp-content/photos/pool/reg/4.jpg

   this is my error message, when I try to create my galery.

   When you get this only for one pic it sounds like this image is corrupt.

   it writes to me for every images...

   That's the php library used to create the thumbnails. Check, that it is installed properly and version is higher than 2.
