how can i get a layout like the one on plagues, the trendy layouts
for teenagers these days. The band collage header with the
simple-ish navigation and the cool gadgets on your blogs.
or a layout like the one on rewindd
what theme should I start with, how can i achieve that simple look.

First, learn the rules.
Rule #1: We do not bump threads.
Rule #2: http://themes.wordpress.net - look around there to see if you can find something that matches your goal. It's a simple 2-column layout in structure, so the basic architecture behind it is not too difficult to align with.

I couldn't find any in the themes on wordpress.
I was kind of hoping for a website outside wordpress :[

Have you asked the site owner of plagues.nu where she got her layout, or whether she made it herself? Perhaps she can point you in a helpful direction or might be willing to make one for you.
If you know your way around a graphic program and are willing to learn a little CSS, creating your own theme can be fun.
