Category/Archive Templates – Confusion – Need Help!

Hello, I’ve honestly searched about this and I cannot find any information that helps me. I need a little help, thanks.

So on my site I don’t want archives or categories listed in the side bar, I want one single link which goes to a page with the categories and archives listed on together. I can add the links on the page, no problem, what I need help with is how to go about this.

Do I just manually build a page, with a loop in and the tags then upload it similar to that of the index page?

Is there a better way, or a plug-in capable of doing this?
