Cannot install plugins

Hi,

When I try to install plugins by searching from the dashboard I get the following error:

An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

This has only started happening today. The only thing I have changed is uninstalling some plugins and blocking one IP in my .htaccess file. I have tried allowing the IP again but it still doesn’t work so I guess it isn’t that.
