SlideDeck 2: show text before More Tag only

Hello, im using the SlideDeck 2 plugin on a localy hosted website, so can’t provide a link. Basically, in the slide, you get an overlay which shows the title and up to 300 characters or so of the post itself. I wan’t it to only show text before the More Tag tho, so that I can have more control over the content which shows in the slide.

Does anyone familiar with the plugin know what file I need to edit, as there are so many .php files. Im able to edit code etc, so don’t worry about that, just need to know what I can edit to fix it…Maybe what I want is an option in the paid version, but there must be a way to tell it to only get the text before the more tag, just like I do on my homepage loop.
