My website isn’t live yet, i’m using a coming soon plugin :s
Also I should add that the menu works fine on my computer in firefox but not on my bosses computer and he’s using firefox too. I’m wondering if it’s anything to do with spacing at the top.
It may be theme related.
I have not seen this on WordPress but with other programs were there is a slight gap between the menu and the drop down menu. By moving the cursor from the main menu you actually move out of the menu and the drop down menu disappears.
Also, if your menu is longer than the display window width and the menu gets compressed to fit the window then the drop down menus will be further away form the main menu and you get the same problem.
Can’t say much until we see the site.

I can confirm there is a gap between the main nav menu and sub-menu’s.
I don’t know which bit to change but this is the code, any help would be much appreciated:

It is impossible to troubleshoot CSS outside of the context of the site it was designed for. So unless we can see the site/theme, there’s very little we can do other than make wild guesses. Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser.

As I say the menu is fine on this computer, just not on my bosses so it would be good to know if it’s ok or not on other computers.

Firefox 21.0. But I have that browser and version on my PC too and it’s fine on there :s Also I tried it in Chrome on bosses PC and it’s fine on that too.

Hi, I have been working on a site http://www.cupcakedolly.com.au
and have the same problem with drop-down menu. It seems to happen in all browsers. The drop down menu is very difficult to click, because it just disappears. Can anyone see what is wrong and maybe how to fix. I’d so appreciate any help. Thank you Kim
