The fact that my topic was closed for discussion after a very unsatisfactory reply from MichaelH only proves further that I should be spending the next few weeks finding a CMS with better support.

I hear Drupal just won CMS of the year...

Did you follow any of the links? You don't want volunteers support, so those two links will point you to paid options.

We can all understand your frustration, but just lashing out at all volunteers won't further your cause, I'm afraid.

openlycreative, you are consistently rude and ungreatful for the help you do recieve - why should people want to help you? i'm sure your attitude will go down like a cup of cold sick over at drupal too. you need to grow up and learn to play nice or go pay for someone's help - they will still think you are rude and unpleasant but at least they will be getting something in return for dealing with you and your lack of manners.

Look "openlycreative", I've scanned through your posts to see if I can offer anything, but all I see are messages like:

"This is crap, it doesn't work. Can no-one help? What a waste of time."

and when you're asked to clarify exactly what your problem is, you give nothing but more attitude and moans. How do you expect any support when you're not actually willing to provide information on what's not working - examples of behaviour, error messages, version numbers, environment, etc.?

Don't just bitch about stuff, ASK politely and when people try to help, be polite, answer their questions and maybe someone WILL be able to help you.

Also, if someone points you at links for paid support, you just go silent. If you're not willing to mention your specific problems in public, pay and speak privately to someone.

If you're not willing or capable of doing that, head off to Drupal, or whatever else you think is so much better and stop being a whiny child on here.
