    Hey there!
First of all the plugin seems to be quite what I’m looking for, sadly it can’t get it to work completely. And sorry for posting this previously in an resolved thread by accident.

I’m using wordpress 3.5.1, testing on MampPro, PHP 5.4.4,

Whenever I try to watermark a fullsize Image(about 3500x2500px) i get an Internal ServerError. When only watermarking smaller Images or thumbs of large images it works just as expected.
Well, I’m not sure if this is a problem with the configuration of my testing environment(probably some kind of memory limitation?) or if it is a problem within the plugin, but any help would be appreciated? Maybe somebody else encountered the same problem.
Anyways great work as far as I can tell right now.

    Greetings
    Christian

    Some feature suggestions:
    – maybe I’m just picky but I had the feeling that the jpg compression produced artifacts in the watermarked images, so an option to choose the compression would be nice
    – Another great feature would be if one could store Presets to chose from when marking individual images
…just some ideas, as I said it’s already great work as it is

  • Hello,

I just tried to watermark some big image (4928 × 3264) and it worked. But I had to significantly reduce the jpg quality because by default you can only upload images smaller than 2MB. If your image is much bigger than 2MB it could potentially cause some problem with memory or server timeout. Maybe you could find some more information about this issue in PHP log?

    Thanks for your suggestions.

    Regards

It happens quite the same for me, i work with images not too large, about 550×350 pixels and when i set them as main photo of an article, it dont show watermark at all.

Images i upload are mostly .jpg truecolors v1.1 24bits depth

But when i upload a few images inside the article yup it shows if you click on the image to view it full

    How can i fix it?

    Hi soulgfx,

What theme are you using? Some themes (e.g. ‘twenty twelve’) define a custom image sizes for post thumbnails. In the current version this plugin can only watermark built-in sizes (thumb, medium, large and fullsize) so maybe this is the problem here…

    Regards

I am using “sahifa responsive theme” and when i upload images i always do it through “Add object” while i am writing the article

Ok, unfortunately, it looks like your theme registered a custom image size for featured images, so there is no way to watermark them for now since this plugin doesn’t support not-built-in image sizes.
However, I’m going to add a possibility for watermarking any image sizes, even this not standard ones, so please check for updates.

    Regards

Good news: I have just uploaded the new version of Easy Watermark which introduces support for all image sizes registered by any theme or plugin 🙂 So now you can watermark also ‘post-thumbnail’ (if it’s registered by specific theme) or any ‘featured’ images. Enjoy!
