It works with other themes: Haven’t Tried
It works when I disable all other plugins: No
    Meta Slider version: 2.0.2

I’ve looked at the code and it’s clear why it’s no working – The images for the slider aren’t included in the code. What isn’t clear is why the images get added when I’m logged into wp-admin, and why it doesn’t when I’m not.

I tried disabling w3 Total Cache, but still no dice. I figured it was some kind of caching issue, but my pursuits of a solution in that area has been fruitless so far.

  • Hi mbrinson,

This is a new one for me. There must be another plugin doing something strange, can you try disabling all of them? If you have any CDN type plugin I’d start with that first.

    Regards
    Tom

Sorry about that Tom. Yes, you can go ahead and set it to resolved.
I haven’t solved it yet, but it’s just because I haven’t made time to work on it yet. I’m sure it’s something specific to my theme, some plugin, or whatever.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,
    I have the same problem.
Metaslider working only when logged in, except that on theme frontpage and on theme’s default page’s sidebar it’s working as it should.
But with shortcode to content no images load.
Everything was ok on Linux server demo site, now migrated to IIS.
Though I don’t think it’s about server OS. Or? Maybe database corrupted?

I have QTranslate, but as I wrote Metaslider had no problems with that before. No cache plugin issue, have removed W3 Total.
Should I rollback to some previous version of Metaslider perhaps?
I will continue to try to solve but some help/hint/advice needed.
I think it’s about QTranslate… but I definitely need that… as I’m pleased with Metaslider otherwise, I wouldn’t want to change slider plugin… must solve this.

    WP version 3.5.1
    Metaslider 2.1.4

    Hi,

Can you try disabling qTranslate quickly, just to rule it out? Incompatibility issues with qTranslate has been reported before.

    Regards,
    Tom.

This did end up being a problem with a plugin. So, anyone else experiencing this problem, take the time to disable all of the other plugins to see if that is the issue.

For others who are having this issue, I have confirmed for sure (at least in one instance) that Rolescoper is the conflicting plugin. I haven’t figured out the specifics yet, but I’m going to have to because we need both Rolescoper and Meta Slider active.
