It's on my todo list, but I need to create cron jobs, and backups to reinstall the thing every so often.

I'm unable to activate this plugin to test, on a WP v2.5 install.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_shortcode() in....eshop.php on line 282
Any ideas?
Note - I'm posting re: the updated 2.5 version.
If you are using W2.5 it should work, can you try re-uploading the wordpress files - that seems to have cured undefined functions for others.

Very promising for a simple paypal-integration system- but I can't seem to be able to define stock levels.
go to the settings - eshop page. Set Stock Control to on, then edit your products and you should be able to set the stock levels. If not please let me know and I'll check into it.

Any old versions for wordpress MU?
Download available via Quirm.net should work with MU. Unless MU has been updated to use WP2.5, in which case I hope the files available via the wordpress plugins is suitable.

I'm currently configuring this plug-in for use on a client's site, and so far, so good. (I'd send a link, but it's not live just yet.) I'm working on setting up the shipping charges, though, and I've found that I really need more classes and zones than are currently available: a total of maybe 20 classes and 9 zones. Is this something that I can do myself? Or do I risk screwing up the whole operation? I'm not a programmer by any stretch of the imagination, but I am comfortable editing/amending PHP when I need to. Thanks in advance!
hmm not easy to code in, without actually trying I don't know how some things will work. Class F has been set aside for free shipping though.
Anyway - you'll need to alter the eshop_shipping_rates table, and the eshop_shipping.php page. There may be others, but that is all I can think of straight away.
If you get stuck, let me know - I can run a test version with alterations if need be.

Thanks for your quick response! I'll take a look... may not want to mess with a good thing, especially if you aren't sure of the ramifications. I might be able to work with my client to simplify her shipping costs so that I can avoid this altogether!

I installed eShop and am finding that every time I make an edit to a post, it duplicates the product under eshop > products listing page. Is this the normal behavior?
No and it shouldn't happen.
What version of eShop are you using, and which version of Wordpress? Plus did you upgrade wordpress, or is it a fresh installation?
It might not help, but which version of php and mysql do you have?
How did you get your plugin added? how long did it take? what do they do, send you an email so you can start using SVN? what is the steps?
This clearly does not work!
It's pretty simple
1. Sign up.
2. Within some vaguely defined amount of time, some one will approve your request.
3. You'll then have access to a Subversion Repository where you'll store your plugin.
4. Once you put your plugin (and a readme file!) in that repository, it will shortly be automatically entered into the plugins browser.
Completely irrelevant to eShop - I'd suggest you start a new topic.

My WP is an upgrade from earlier versions... haven't had any other problems that I am aware of. eShop seems to be working fine in other aspects, but it keeps increasing the product counts every time I edit the page. Currently I am at:
43 products.
40 products in stock.
4 featured products.
0 purchases.
And I only have 3 actual products on my blog for sale!

Elfin... you know I think I realize now what has happened... but am not sure how to fix it. I had installed eShop a couple of weeks ago as a test, and at that time decided not to use it. Well I didn't uninstall it normally (from the plug in page), I FTPd ot the site, and deleted the plugin folder and contents and deleted the extra pages that eShop had created. So I am guessing there were changes made in the database that were NOT removed, and after reinstalling, I wonder if that previous install of eShop has whacked things out as regards product counts.
If this is the case, what do you suggest I do? Would a proper uninstall of eShop and then a reinstall fix things? thanks!!!
It would be worth trying if you haven't entered too much. but in theory it shouldn't have affected anything
I have tried various means to reproduce the problem and have been unable to. So if after re-installing you still find you have the problem feel free to email me. But the only way I would be able to help is to have temporary access to your ftp and your installation of wordpress.
I may just need to tweak a setting, but obviously that means a few code changes while I test it.

I tried deactivating and also deleting the plugin, and then re-uploaded it and activated it and the duplicate products are still there.
I even went into PHPMyAdmin and dropped the tables for eShop, deactivated the plugin, deleted it, reuploaded it and reactivated it, and the duplicate products are STILL there! If I dropped those eShop tables from the DB how in the world could the products still be listed?
At this point I would like to just have a FRESH install of Eshop with no previous data and then start from there to see if I still have a problem. I would be happy for you to FTP to my server... just need a way to get that info to you in a secure way.
if you're not happy sending info by email then we may be stuck...

I'm investigating now - I'll update this thread when we have a solution.
the latest version 2.7.3 fixes this issue. My thanks to mparkes for allowing me access to his server while I narrowed down where the bug lay.
