I upgraded latest Really Simple CAPTCHA. However, is there a way to know for us to confirm we are using the latest version? Thanks in advance.

Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins. You can see versions there. The latest version of Really Simple CAPTCHA is 1.6 at this time.
