Thanks for reporting this. I would like to help you get to the bottom of this issue and resolve it.

This message is supposed to show up only when a brute-force attack is detected. It is not supposed to be blocking you from logging in.

Make sure your session cookies are enabled and working.
Make sure you are logging in from the wp-login.php page.
See if it makes a difference what browser or computer you use to login.
What happens when you click the “Open the pod bay doors” link?

If none of this helps please contact me directly with your domain name so that I can try it myself. my direct address is: eli at gotmls dot net

    Aloha, Eli

I have had the same problem and have to say that the message frightened the life out of me until I googled the phrase. Can you put a less innocuous message in? The problem occurred for me when I tried to use the Android app for managing multiple WP sites.

If you don’t like the added protection that prevents login attempt from posting to you site from somewhere other than your site then you can delete the safe-load.php file in the gotmls folder inside your plugins directory.
This stand-alone patch is independant of the rest of my plugin so that it can be removed without breaking anything. It is now an optional fix so you must check the box to opt-in to apply this particular fix.

Please let me know if you need any more help.

    Aloha, Eli

The added protection is fine – it’s just that the message for Dave made me think that I’d been hacked. Something a little less frightening perhaps signed by Eli!

I have same problem after plugin upgrade and it’s the admin account….I would avoid to reset password if possible. Can you help? Tried to cancel cookies and with different browser

    angelsahre,
Are you using the latest version of my plugin?

I have changed this message in the latest version and added more info in the Help tab in the top right. Are you trying to login from an external page or from the wp-login.php URL on your site?

Are you still getting the message “Just what do you think you are doing?”

If you click on the “Help” tab does it say “SESSION TEST PASSED! You should be able to login now.”?

Can you then login after clicking on the link that says “Open the login page to try again”?

If none of this works for you you can always just delete my plugin from your server using FTP and it will stop protecting the login page (if this is the case I would very much appreciate the oppertunity to login to your WP Admin and figure out why it is not working for you.

You can also contact me directly for more help: eli AT gotmls DOT net
